About Us

About Us

hands in We are a tribal department that serves all crime victims within our traditional boundaries which encompasses parts of Pottawatomie, Lincoln, and Payne counties. We also serve Sac and Fox tribal members living outside our traditional boundaries, who have fallen victim to crime, by arranging for emergency transportation to bring them back within our boundaries and to their safety net.

Our Advocate(s) provide 24/7 crisis response in emergency situations. We strive to provide immediate safety, resources necessary for the victims’ healing and to walk beside the survivor through their journey, from the onset of the crime to their restoration. While there are concerns regarding privacy within tribal communities, our program ensures the protection of client confidentiality. This is your story, and we will respect who, if anyone, you want us to share it with.
